To ship your glove to Blank Bros: place the order online, pack the glove in a box or padded mailer that doesn’t crush it, drop in a note with your name, service, position, wear style, and lace colors, and send it to us in Redding, California. We do the work by hand and ship it back. Return shipping is included in every service. Timing depends on the job and our current queue — we keep you posted.
Before you pack — order first
- Pick the service. Break-in $65 for a new or stiff glove. Clean & condition $55 if the laces are still good. Relace & restoration $95 if the lace is frayed, stretched, or the pocket is gone.
- Tell us how you wear it. Finger out, finger in, one in the pinky, two in the pinky. Position matters too — infield, outfield, catcher, first base, pitcher, softball.
- Pick lace colors if you ordered a relace. Classic tan or custom. If you skip this, we’ll use a sound match.
Checkout is on our Shopify store. The shipping address for the glove is on your order confirmation.
What to put in the package
- The glove (dry — don’t ship it wet)
- A note: name, order, service, position, wear style, lace colors
- A box or padded mailer that fits without crushing the pocket
What to leave out
- Oil, mink oil, or a bottle of conditioner — we use Ball Player’s Balm in the shop. Extra product in the box just makes a mess.
- A damp towel or a ball wrapped in plastic. Moisture in a sealed bag is how mold starts.
- The whole bat bag. Just the glove.
Packing so it arrives in one piece
- Use a box or a padded mailer big enough that the glove isn’t mashed flat. A USPS, UPS, or FedEx box that held shoes or a small appliance is fine.
- Don’t crush the pocket on purpose. We’re going to reshape it. Shipping it folded inside-out or jammed under books just adds creases we have to work out.
- Put the note where we’ll see it — on top of the glove, not taped to the outside of the box (labels get torn off).
- Take a photo of the packed box and the tracking number. Useful if the carrier has a bad day.
This matches the mail-in steps on how it works. Same process, more packing detail.
Turnaround — what we can honestly say
Every glove is worked by hand, so timing depends on the service and our current queue. We keep you posted. We do not advertise a guaranteed number of days. If you have a hard date (first pitch, a showcase), email blankbrosgloveco@gmail.com before you ship and we’ll tell you whether the queue can meet it.
Return shipping is included on break-in, clean & condition, and full restore. You cover the inbound label.
