When the factory lace stretches or the pocket goes flat, we de-lace, deep clean (no oil), condition, re-lace with fresh rawhide, and re-break to your wear style. A $95 Mizuno glove restoration is almost always smarter than replacing a gamer you already trust.
Why Mizunos are worth saving
Mizuno builds a firm, structured glove. That’s the point — and it’s also why a bad DIY oil job or a cheap flat-lace repair feels wrong. The hide will outlast the lace if you don’t cook it or soak it. Pro, Franchise, MVP — and softball
Higher-end Mizuno leather takes a slower clean and even lace tension. Mid-line models still get the same process; we’ll tell you if a very cheap synthetic isn’t worth the $95. Fastpitch Mizunos get a deeper pocket than a baseball infield pattern. Same flat pricing.
New Mizuno that needs breaking in?
